Update! Morrisons bargains!

Hi there!

I'd like to let you all know that Morrisons have Aussie Shampoo's and Condtioners for half price at the moment. This makes them a bargain price of £1.70 each. I normally use Paul Bryan shampoo and conditioner but I couldn't pass this bargain up! I bagged myself the shampoo and conditioner for long hair and it smells wonderful!

I have also recently picked up some Bliss Softening Socks and Sock Salve.

My feet still aren't sandal ready so I'm hoping this will improve them a great deal. I'll let you know how they get on. The salve smells soo good! Very refreshing.

FOTD

I was running a few errands today and had to stop round my old flat to do some cleaning so I wanted a low maintenance natural look.

Here are the results:

Photobucket

The photos have washed me out a little as I was in front of a window but this is what I used:

Face:
Clinique Superfit foundation - Shell
Benefit Bo-ing concealor - Lite
Maybelline Dream Matt powder - 02 Rose Ivory
MAC Blush - Tippy

Eyes:
Revlon Vital Radiance primer
Bourjois Waterproof eyeshadow - Kaki Branche (all over the lid as a base)
Chilli Pepper eyeshadow quad - The brown collection. (I used the lightest colour all over the lid)
MAC Lucky Tom palette - Lucky Tom (in the crease)
Prestige Waterproof eyeliner - Black (in the waterline)
Rimmel Sexy Curves mascara - Black

Lips:
MAC Lip conditioner - Pink Fish

I'm aware the colours aren't really showing well. I'm going to try some better lighting for next time.

Running out!

I am definitely not like the fact that my favourite lip glass is running out and unfortunately it's a cremesheen lip glass in Boy Bait.

Photobucket

I've checked ebay and there's nothing on at the moment and I really regret not buying back ups. I do think it's quite similar to underage lip glass but this applies really fool proof and is more sheer. I LOVE LOVE LOVE this gloss.

What's a girl to do?

I need to find a really good dupe fast!

Questions and Answers

I found this on Zoella's blog and wanted to have a go myself. Here we gooo...

* What’s your favourite eye shadow colour to wear? Any shimmery lightish brown. I really love Mac All That Glitters and Half Baked from Urban Decay.
* What’s the one product you wouldn’t leave your house without? Lip balm. Any brand.
* What’s your favourite makeup look ? Winged eyeliner and pale pink lips.
* Which feature do you play up the most? Lips. I like to wear brighter lip colours on nights out. During the day I like to keep it safe.
* Which feature do you try to downplay/cover up? I try to hide my dark circles but I haven't found the perfect product just yet.
* Your favourite makeup brand, if you could pick only ONE to exist? Probably Mac. I don't know what I'd do without Studio Fix Fluid.
* Which product have you re-purchased OVER and OVER again? Carmex, Mac Studio Fix and Prestige waterproof eyeliner pencil.
* Which product would you NEVER repurchase again and why? Collection 2000 mascara. I can't remember the name but it's in orange packaging and is very very goopy.
* One beauty treatment you would always PAY to have done? Bikini Wax.
* One beauty treatment you would NEVER pay to have done? Eyebrow waxing or threading.
* One beauty trick you can share with everyone? I don't have anything original but I use the cold water trick for making sure my nail varnish is dry before going to bed.
* Best advice you've ever been given regarding beauty and makeup? After visiting the Clinique counter the woman advised me to always remove make-up before washing you face. I didn't believe it at first but it really has improved my skin. Oh and MOISTURISE!

Colour Craft Haul

Hi there,

I had 6 empty Mac containers so I decided to get along to Mac and hopefully get my hands on the Colour Crafted lipstick from the Colour Craft Collection. I recently saw a video by LucyMarie85 on youtube where she showed the Colour Crafted lipstick and I immediately wanted to have it. It is such a lovely pink colour. It's bright but very wearable. It's already sold out online so a Mac store was my best bet and they had it! There was a little confusion with the girl who served me and the conversation went as follows:
''Hi can I get one of the Colour Crafted lipsticks from the Colour Craft collection?''
''Yeah sure, Which one?''
''Colour Crafted''
''Ok.. which colour are you after..?''
''Colour Crafted''
''OH''

I got there in the end.

I also picked up Style Demon Blush from the same collection which wasn't in my previous wish list. The blush itself is a brick red colour with gold veining. It is sooo pretty and very pigmentated. I've been using a fan brush with this product to be sure I achieve a wash of colour on my cheeks.

I don't normally go for these types of colours but it was too pretty to pass up. I originally wanted the Daft Pink (love that name!) blush and I still might pick that up if they have any left. I have seen a few videos on youtube where people have been raving about the product and a few have said it's more of a shimmer and doesn't have much colour. If this is the case, Is it really worth having?

Left - Colour Crafted
Middle - Style Demon
Right - Style Demon sheered out

I wasn't really impressed with anything else in the collection so I think that will be that. I am still interested in the Honey Salve from the Naked Honey Collection so I will be getting that on pay day if there is still some left. That will be the only product I will get from that collection too. I really wasn't loving the perfume fragances.

MAC - Naked Honey and Colour Craft

It's that time again when MAC brings out a couple more collections and it couldn't come at a more worse a time for me. I've just settled into my new house and I am very strapped for cash at the moment. I really like the look of the mineralized products in the Colour Craft collection and a couple of products from Naked Honey.

I've been eyeing up -

Colour Craft
Natural flare E/S
Assemblage E/S
Colour crafted lipstick
Made with love lipstick
Trimming talk lipstick
Daft pink blush

Naked Honey
Naked honey perfume
Skin salve

I've been going off what I have seen soo far on youtube as I haven't been able to have a chance to check out the products in person so things may change. I will post when I am able to get my hands on a few of these goodies!

Take care!

Update!

Hey,

Sorry I haven't updated in a while. I've been currently moving house. It's been sooo hot in Newcastle at the moment. Due to this I have picked up a new make up item. I picked up the Maybelline mineral foundation. I haven't used it much but soo far I can see that it isn't covering up the blackheads on my nose very well. It's almost like the blackheads are absorbing the mineral make up. It's really odd. I'm going to try it with a primer and see if that makes a difference.
